What information should I have ready when I call for a quote?
When you call to ask about a price quote, be ready to provide your name, the desired departure city/airport, the desired arrival city/airport, the number of passengers that will be traveling, the date(s) you would like to leave and/or return, whether the flight will be one-way or a round trip (if a round trip, then how many days you will be at your destination), and how you heard about Destin Air Charters.
If I am going to be traveling on an international flight to the Bahamas or Caribbean, is it still mandatory that I bring a passport?
If you have already have a passport, you will be required to bring it with you. If you do not already have one, you will need to bring proof of application of a passport. This means, that you will need to apply for a passport, and if there is not enough time to have your passport expedited to you before the date of departure for your trip, you can go to the following website: http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/status/status_2567.html and download the proof of application form to fill out. You will need to bring this form with you in place of your actual passport in order to clear customs.
How much notice do I need to give before chartering an airplane?
All we really need is about two hours notice. If you have an emergency, give us a call and allow about two hours so we can determine if we will have a plane available, notify a pilot, and get the airplane fueled and ready for your flight.
Do you have any regularly scheduled flights?
We do not schedule any flights regularly to any particular destination. We schedule our flights around the only schedule that matters: yours.
